Polish PM Donald Tusk has confirmed an act of sabotage on the Warsaw–Lublin rail line, where an explosive device damaged tracks near the village of Mika.

“There’s no doubt this was deliberate,” said Tusk.

🇵🇱 Poland’s PM Donald Tusk has accused opposition parties @pisorgpl and @KONFEDERACJA_ of “standing on their heads” to deflect blame from Russia over the recent drone incursion. “Imagine their leadership in a time of aggression,” he wrote on X.

The incident—Poland’s largest airspace breach in decades—saw 21 Russian drones enter Polish territory overnight on 9–10 Sept, prompting the first-ever use of Polish Air Force weapons domestically. NATO allies assisted in downing at least 8 drones.

Konfederacja leader Sławomir Mentzen criticised the government’s preparedness: “We’ll be shooting down $40k drones with $4m Patriot missiles?”

Poland has invoked NATO’s Article 4, triggering emergency consultations. The Sejm passed a resolution condemning the incursion with 431 votes in favour.
