but nowadays, we have hall effect keyboards that are actually really cheap with shit like rapid trigger, snap tap (not that it works for cs) etc. rapid trigger, in this case, fixes what i talked about above where you releasing a nanometer not releasing the key, well, there you go
so you get this situation where you have to either delay your pressing of the opposite key or press down just enough that it hits the actuation whenever you want to move since releasing a nanometer doesn't actually release the key, which both of those things are kind of cancer
hall effect keyboards really are such a life hack for cs, counter strafing used to be actually quite difficult since analog has a set actuation point that's permanently set to somewhere like 3mm (or at least with MY previous keyboard), whereas fully pressing the key down is 4mm
like it's so fucked that i only use my index and middle finger on my right hand and the rest is just on enter so i can send things faster, most of the words you type only need your left hand
was looking around vrcompare to check frame specs since i saw a video about the potential cost of the frame now that we have the price of the machine, i genuinely didn't think it would cost that much more than the quest 3 but then i saw that it has 16 gigs vram and 256 storage
gonna make a prediction that it'll probably be around 700-800 maybe? valve, if you guys make a 128 or even 64 gigs storage option you will outsell meta, please think about this
saw this comment under linus' new video on the steam machine, jesus fucking christ are people really like this? they just spend money on whatever new that's whatever? like they don't even have a need or use-case for it, like i can tell this guy definitely doesn't have to pay rent
anyone else get that feeling sometimes like reality doesn't feel real, like you're just looking around and you're like "man i can't believe i'm seeing things through my eyes right now and it's not a game"
not gonna lie i really do hate myself for having wasted so much time when i couldโve gotten so much done, working towards making things, but it is what it is, now i just have to keep learning and improving
like my brain genuinely starts feeling fatigued and it's like telling me "dude you gotta stop, this is way too much to handle" and either what i'm doing has to be that engaging or i'm genuinely interested and have the want to that eventually i push through and the feeling's gone
recently i've felt my brain literally shift modes from consuming to doing, where right when i tell myself "yeah, there's something i wanna get done" then i start doing it, it starts out feeling like it's the hardest thing in the world
guys, i mean mostly web devs, do you start seeing rectangles on everything even in real life as if they're elements and does it help with designing shit like your room
