I’d assume artists make music for themselves and their audiences. I don’t understand why musicians feel the need to submit their work for approval from the Recording Academy. Especially given their suspiciously corrupt history with the Grammys.
@witdess You pictured ‘Part of Me’ but it’s even crazier that ‘Wide Awake’ was such a summer smash hit as a ballad, especially in 2012 during the bonkers EDM pop era
@carboxy_ryan@nichblink Ryan, even if she’d do arena venues only she’d still not be a Khia. Be so serious, the woman world-toured an album that didn’t sell well. A Khia would never be able to do that
@aphroditexgaga@carboxy_ryan@nichblink You don’t know how the industry works I guess. Touring makes the most bank currently, the charts don’t matter anymore. Madison Beer has been doing multiple world tours and only this year got her first entry on the hot 100.
@carboxy_ryan@nichblink Ryan, you can’t be a khia and do a worldtour with stadium venues. It just doesn’t work like that, no matter how bad you want Katy to be a khia
@optisues@PopBase How exactly? The information about whether they’re real or not is classified. Obama saying they’re real is sharing classified information. It also would’ve been that way if he said they weren’t real
