@rhett_carlson I think Washington Ave feels safer, so people are more willing to walk around and hangout, Hennepin and Nicollet have more "disorderly" pockets, specially around target and some bus stops

An owner-occupied home is a thing being consumed, a necessity, yes, but not something producing revenue or capital accumulation.
It only enters the capital side once itβs leased and generating service income.
If demand for land grows in the area, and there is artificial scarcity on the supply side, yes, that increases the value of your home, and you make some money because of that, but your taxes will go up, and you donβt see the money until you sell the house, and good luck finding an affordable house in todayβs reality when you move
@GrantSlatton Whatever side you guys are, allowing thieves to steal from people is immoral, the lowest punishment for stealing a bike should be to return it to the owner and to pay a big big fine
