There's no proof the majority of people there want to be Russian by any standard the UN would acknowledge. There's peaceful ways to resolve that dispute.

Letting it get taken in war isn't one.

@MarioNawfal @elonmusk They did decide. They decided war. Ukraine is fighting for it's very survival and they decided to not let themselves get destroyed by Russia.

Self preservation is quite a natural thing to decide to do.

These false talking points give the conflict false equivalence.
