@mattyglesias Agreed that in the end fixing the problem is the most important thing. But the question of do the Israelis WANT to fix the problem or are they just trying to avert bad PR is an important component of that.

@Noahpinion I mean before or after Israel destroys Iran’s ballistic missile capability? Pakistan’s Air Force would have been much stronger but they don’t have the interception capability Israel has so you’d expect many, many more hits from Iran’s missiles.

@JeffHoogland @PokemonTCGP Anecdotally I have a few friends who canceled their premium pass, they just felt it was becoming unreasonably expensive to keep up and tapped out. If they’ve just squeezed the player base too hard that could provoke an exodus.
I’ve been looking back at Snap after 6 months away.

@Noahpinion Isn’t this phenomenon literally why we have the leopards eating faces meme? We know that they don’t apply the wider policy to the people they know. We know they won’t or can’t abstract the policy to real people elsewhere.
