@isitohbi Protip - Save and reread everything you've ever written before starting a new work to make sure you don't accidently create the same material twice without citation.
@isitohbi Never mind that years after you've written a couple paragraphs and forgotten about them, you may write almost the exact same thing again because it's something you write about sometimes, and you're the same person with the same experiences.
@orangecorduroy@OldBaconFace@SopanDeb If you had an office bigger than a mid-sized apartment with its own bathroom, bar, and personal assistant, and a fun six-figure car (or helicopter) to drive to work, it might be hard to understand why your employees don't see a space to park in and one to work in as perks.
@orangecorduroy@OldBaconFace@SopanDeb I'm pretty sure the CEO sees an employees parking space and office space as a benefit for them that they're missing out of by working at home.
@FSEngine@WillSloanEsq@NathanJRobinson I remember my literature textbook in college had a forward where the editor explained that if you enjoy reading something, it's not good literature, and very learned people can appreciate how great boring literature is.
I'm like, who the F*** let this guy edit lit. textbooks.
@EmmmieG@angryrobotbooks The actual method through which the creature was created, in the novel, is vague, but Frankenstein developed his method by combining his knowledge of science with his knowledge of the occult. He was born on the day Frankenstein created him.
@EmmmieG@angryrobotbooks Not tricky at all. In the novel Frankenstein dug up bodies to study anatomy, he didn't create the monster from used body parts and lightning. That was all created for the Universal film adaptation.
Count Dracula was 412 when he moved to England in search of new blood.
Sauron was 54,000 years old when he forged The One Ring.
Cthulhu had seen galaxies flare into life and fade to darkness before he put madness in the minds of men.
It's never too late to follow your dreams!
@Unicorn_Opti Also the movie subtitle was Knockin' on Heaven's Door, but WB nixed it out of fear of a lawsuit. I found songs used for episode titles usually referred to something in the episode, but the song lyrics would usually apply to the series as a whole.
@Unicorn_Opti It takes place sometime before the final three episodes. Most place it before or after #23. I actually think it goes between #18 & #19 b/c of the character arcs, and it also explains why Spike was having his ship worked on in #19.
After an hour of panicking and looking through different games and pieces and trying to figure out what may have the strange mold or whatever it is and what's salvageable and not finding anything else, I finally look up the instruction books online. That's just the way they look.
But maybe it's just a design choice, so I grab another game, Castles of Burgundy this time. The instruction book has these weird splotches everywhere.
Oh no! Did something happen? Is my whole collection ruined?
@Thewearyadvent1 It just so happens that Vader got off just in time. And then he's installed as the head of the military, and after a major terrorist attack like that, Palpatine is able to shore up more support for a protracted war against the rebels.
@Thewearyadvent1 Look how Tarkin talks to Vadar, and about the emperor. Palpatine's two major threats are a military coup, and the rebel alliance that's rising up. So he sets it up so the rebels blow up the death star with all of the top military brass on board.
