We've just launched our latest Kickstarter: Arcane Lock!
It's a collection of over 200 riddles for D&D, Pathfinder, Shadowdark, or whatever else you happen to be playing.
Back it here!

@SandyofCthulhu My first ever interaction with Wolfenstin was, as a 5 year old, seeing my dad play. Then, I saw the "Can I play, Daddy?" difficulty.
I was so excited and he let me try it. I had a blast. Died terribly of course, but it is a core memory.
@elvenmaidinn The more homogenized the fantasy races become, the less individuality each has.
By eliminating or reducing the penalties fantastical races would get, it's attacking the unique traits, and sometimes even fantasy of being that race.
From what I understand, Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is not as big in Japan as it is in America. Is there some other roleplaying game that you use? If so, what is it and how easy is it to get into?
@John_Cyrano@ErebusValmar@Nerdcognito@rpgcyrusrite I've had some players try evil PCs. 99% of the time it makes a terrible experience for all involved. Those few that work though can *really* work.
I would never let a player I've never played with at this point try an evil PC. If I know the player though, I'd consider it.
@RingashGame In action games, I almost always hate difficulty settings. 99% of the time it boils down to "Enemy gets +%hp and +%dmg". If you can beat it without taking a hit, it just takes the 3-4 minutes of fun and stretches it out into a slog.
@SandyofCthulhu I've been accosted by so many characters. One guy literally brought out his character sheet and began to read his ability scores, including modifiers.
What I actually enjoy are the "My group is so crazy, we did [X]" stories.
Normally, fires and war crimes are involved.
