@kimmonismus I picked up a brick and realized, to my horror, there are no safeguards against hitting someone with it.
We need a societal discussion about this.
@realKalos Feel like at the same time we’ve stayed on the same planet. What Bezos means is when we go to different planets, things will change and the new environments and challenges human face will be so different, we will see genius thrive in a multi-planetary state.
@urbit And suppose I wish to build on top of the stack that is called "Urbit"?
In the context of systems such as Grok Bot, how feasible and easy are they to build with/on top of Urbit?
@mfranz_on Yes!
We have the potential to do something huge with local AI, and bring forth an entirely new era of the PC.
One that returns to the first word in PC:
Personal.
And part of that is the aesthetic, part of that is the shape, the material, the feel.
I absolutely love this!
I really like this. But I do think that something larger than the current open source movement—if we can call it that—is necessary for the actual adoption of local AI.
The industry needs an Apple; a company which makes local AI immediately accessible to the everyday man/woman.
Building another 2x RTX PRO 6000 Personal AI Computer today for a customer who'd rather not assemble it themselves.
Want to build it yourself? We open source everything:

Own your compute. Own your intelligence.
@craftian_keskin Absolutely top level stuff! Wow, the chariot one is my favourite. Black horse contrasting with the bright orange wave like sands…
This is truly the spectacle of the day. Who’s riding the chariot? Achilles?
Yes, but nothing compares to the feeling of knowing the metal box your AI lives in is yours. Forget home ownership, owning a datacenter is the new American Dream.
