@ShitpostRock RDR2 was a great game marred by modern writing infecting the base story. It wasn't as prominent as newer flops, but it was there. Its also why I expect GT6 to be a terribly written game. Nostalgia means GTA V sycophants will buy it without a second thought.
@clearfails@GiveMeBanHammer The writers who are now politically biased are not likely to write someone like Joshua Graham into the second game. They're not likely to represent factions in an evenhanded manner. All must be modern commentary all must be personal political point scoring. Consistency be damned.
@Creetosis22 It won't be good. You'd need the entire original team back. They have one guy who is probably jaded and will be puppeted around to follow 'the message'.
People need to take off the Optimism glasses and realize something. Most of the renowned studios are just husks. They're done.
@stgyggffttgggff@harukaawake Yasuke was not a samurai. He served Oda for just over a year, it was not possible to receive the training required in that time.
The man who published a book claiming he was a Samurai and was cited for the game RAN from the internet when it was found HE MADE IT UP.
@LOCONGAMER01 There is far too much optimism about this.
Microsoft is sinking, they've doubled and tripled down on AI coding for Windows. You believe this new CEO is good just because she greenlit a sequel to New Vegas when the majority of the devs who made the original arent even at Obsidian.
@penpen_iii Not really a fair comparison.
One is a movie.
The other is an anime.
The budgets are not remotely the same. The new anime is meant to follow the tone of the original Manga not the first movie adaptation.
@oidonhagouda "When you vote, you are exercising political authority, you're using force. And force, my friends, is violence—the supreme authority from which all other authorities are derived."
A movie quote but it fits quite well.
Force is what is used to uphold rights. No force = no rights.
@oidonhagouda Its a defensive tool...
1. against invasion.
2. against criminals or wild animals.
3. against undue harm or punishment by another or a corrupt government.
@90sPiictures Its closer to the original (manga) than any previous version has been. It's going to take time to tell how good the series is overall but at the moment tentatively an 8/10.
@MikeSouthWestUK Well you know, if your government doesn't bother to fix the problem. We could always use more patriots in the US who understand the importance of the 1st and 2nd amendment.
We can trade you for liberals who think the US sucks. Its a win-win.
@PurebredChaos99@ParadoxPopper@ShitpostRock H1B applicants from India are known for two things
1. Firing domestic talent to hire Indian talent.
2. Commiting fraud to get their work credentials (degrees)
Do the math.
