@devongovett Can you do this with vertical scrolling? I could get something working on Chrome but not scrolling up with Safari and Firefox.

Not sure I'd want the scroll snapping either for this.

Writing a web component and creating an element with a class name, event handlers and data attributes makes you appreciate the syntatic sugar of JSX.

on the parent and
grid-area: my-area-name;
In the > * selector.
