Sasha is going in for surgery today, please keep her in your thoughts. I know most of you haven’t had the chance to meet her but believe me when I tell you there is something special about this cat. 💖💖

Latest update - Caroline is now taking her to Massey University Vet Clinic for an assessment of best treatment options. Costs so far A/H vet ~$1000 (paid for by a generous donor), Rappaw Vets $1000 (est) and Massey Vet $2,500-$3,500 (est).

The orthopedic vet is away atm so the surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. Will update more when I can, and thanks to those that have shared/donated 🙏🏼❤️

Last night Sasha (aka Fatty), the therapy/support cat at Te Whare Tiaki, was hit by a car outside the refuge whare. She is stable but needs surgery for a broken pelvis. At this stage the costs are estimated to be around $2000 for this surgery.
