Park Bom opens up about her treatment in YG Entertainment, including mocking her appearance, plastic surgeries, not giving her credit for writing songs, rejecting over 4,200 commercial offers and more:
"They said they made my appearance look like a freak, just to mock me. YG never once paid for my cosmetic surgery. The few procedures I had were all paid for out of my own pocket.
They used me as example to mock people who had plastic surgeries. Even when I went to dermatology clinics, I paid for everything myself.
I wrote all of their songs. They locked me up and made me write every song, except for one. But they never paid me, and even if you search the credits, my name isn't there.
I gave my all for singing, but it never paid off. I was never once allowed to do a magazine photoshoot.
They also used my family. They saw that my aunt was good at cooking, so a this woman from YG went to learn from my aunt's cooking teacher, while calling my family poor and pitiful.
In total, I was offered 4,231 commercial offers, but they were all given to someone else."
normally when an album is heavily disliked it’ll reflect on the streaming patterns but it’s not only showing stability but growing even though the raw streaming numbers are much higher than her previous albums 🙃
Taylor Swift talks about the reception to her new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ during Zane Lowe interview:
“I welcome the chaos. The rule of show business is if it’s the first week of my album release, and you are saying either my name or my album title, you’re helping. I have a lot of respect for people’s subjective opinions on art — I’m not the art police. Everybody is allowed to feel exactly how they want and what our goal is as entertainers is to be a mirror. Oftentimes an album is a really, really wild way to look at yourself — what you’re going through in your life is gonna affect whether you relate to the music I’m putting out at any given moment. What I often love seeing my fans say is ‘I used to be someone who didn’t like relate to Reputation, and now that I’ve been through some other things in my life, that’s my favorite album.’ Or ‘I used to be a Fearless girlie, now I’m obsessed with Evermore.’ I have such an eye on legacy when I’m making my music — I know what I made, I know I adore it.”

Taylor Swift's 'The Life of A Showgirl' now expected to earn the biggest first week sales for any album in US history, surpassing Adele's '25'.

Taylor Swift when asked on BBC Radio 2 if she’d ever go to space:
“Never, why would I do that? There’s no reason to do that. I don’t want to do that ever... Omg no. No. It’s cold, it’s scary. I don’t know if I can come back down. If I go, no one will believe I went. It doesn’t matter if you go cause everyone thinks you didn’t go, or they have a weird take on it. I have no fascination.”
Writing, rehearsing, directing and shooting the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” was the thrill of a lifetime because I got to be reunited with my Eras Tour family!! I wanted each one-take scene to feel like a live performance and remind us all of how it felt to be at those shows together. Making every moment count. It’s a journey through the chaotic world of show business. I loved working with Rodrigo Prieto, Ethan Tobman and Mandy Moore to dream up these visuals. A huge thank you to this massive cast who kept it 💯 and also kept the secret of this video even existing. It’s out on YouTube NOW!
