Privately, I’m pretty sure that Biden knew that the GOP wasn’t going to act rationally. He saw how they acted when he was VP. It seems to me that she was just taking a shot.

And a 2024 primary would’ve been a total disaster because the only thing a challenger could criticize Biden for was his age. Policy wise he did a pretty good job given the 50/50 Congress he had.
