@RachelD1892 Lisa Nandy is on the record as saying that Scots (like Catalans) should be beaten up by police if they dare vote for independence. Good riddance to her.
@Joelmpetlin If you're a US citizen, your loyalty should be to America, not another country, *particularly* if you're a lawmaker. I would have thought that would be obvious.
@BladeoftheS Certainly true of the US system, which costs far more than UK yet people have lower life expectancy. But Singapore pays less (4% of GDP v. 12%) and people live longer than here.
@RITB_ Debanking is against democracy because it gives banks (and therefore other rich & powerful parts of the ruling class) too much power. We needs to be *more* democratic not less.
@RITB_ Well do you think Farage shoulsd vhave been debanked or not? If you do, and you don't like his politics, you seem to be very close to saying people whose politics you dislike should be debanked.
The Canary has been debanked by Lloyds.
Debanking is one of the most pernicious forms of cancellation that an individual or organisation can face β something the FSU is only too familiar with.
Lloyds has provided no explanation for its decision and has not told The Canary when its funds will be returned.
We are in contact with The Canary and stand ready to help.
