@AestheticGamer1 my greatest regret is being too much of a Resi fanboy to even look at other horror games back then. I'm stuck with emulating all of those now unless the industry changes their mind on remastering or even just rereleasing OOP titles.
Another thought about captions and such. Apparently most streaming platforms default to surround sound audio which is why things are so hard to hear these days.
But most of the time you can swap to the stereo balanced soundtrack. Only just learned this but it's a big help.
It's just ridiculous when there's obvious errors, or characters names are misspelled. Plus captions like "speaking Spanish" that pop up over the existing subtitles making them unreadable are just inexcusable. If you're going to provide an accessibility feature it needs to work.
And while I'm complaining about subtitles... The worst things to happen to captioning is AI. At this point I'm too used to the captioning being garbage on most streaming platforms.
By all means use AI tools to help, but a human should be there to double check the accuracy.
@peacock why are your captions censored on Hollow Man? It's both condescending and unhelpful. People watching an R rated movie containing profanity are fully capable of reading that same profanity. Do better please.
Also, growing up post 9/11 I've only ever associated nationalism with the flag-humping madness of modern conservatives. So it's strange listening to old country and seeing a type of nationalism removed from that. Somehow proud Americans but also anti-government. It's neat.
My FYP has been full of videos about progressive country music because of that shitty racist song that's been trending.
Anyways it's so confusing how a genre associated with poverty and lawlessness has become dominated by rich bootlickers.
@cjgatsbypgh I think that's what has been suggested. But like. That's dumb. Doesn't roll of the tongue as easily. And carries negative connotation.
Maybe this is all a ploy to stop Grimes from being the first search result for "E10n Mv5k ex"
X is objectively so funny because it has all the energy of someone trying to be cool and edgy. And from a marketing stand point it's a disaster. You're going to nuke one of the most recognizable brands for one that's entirely SEO unfriendly.
@EzenBaklattan Literally just downloaded it and added myself to the waitlist today.
Over this garbage heep. Amazing how one billionaire's unfettered ego can destroy so much so quickly and so confidently.
