When a loved one is living with mental health challenges, we often tend to blame them for their symptoms. Remember, no one chooses to experience severe depression or anxiety, and nobody wants to have suicidal thoughts. What they do want is human connection. #StopSuicide
If you’ve ever lost someone to suicide, it’s easy to blame yourself but it wasn’t your fault. You did what you knew to do at the time. If your loved one was lost, it was because they could no longer bear their pain. It wasn’t because you didn’t love them enough. #StopSuicide
