I love David because he was so brutally honest with God about his feelings. He didn’t pretend to have it all together. He cried, questioned, felt afraid, angry and discouraged, yet he kept bringing it all back to God. That reminds me that I don’t have to hide my feelings from Him either. I can come as I am, pour out my heart, ask the hard questions and still trust Him. God can handle the messy prayers too. 🤍
When you’re a healer ppl see you as medicine instead of a person. They don’t care what you’re going through they just want you around, you talking, you giving info. You need extreme energetic boundaries for this type of calling.
I am not one of those people who lets shit slide just because we're close. Actually the closer you are to me the more I expect you to know better. Being close to somebody should make you more considerate of them not more comfortable disrespecting them
You should have things you don't do, places you don't go to, substances you don't take, words you don't say
By all means, have Principles and Standards.
Good people have high levels of empathy, but once that empathy is exhausted, they switch to a state of objective observation. They see you for exactly who you are, without the filter of their love. This is why their anger feels so cold, it is the absence of the warmth you took for granted
