🇫🇷 French unions are demanding that Air France stop a shipment of military equipment they say is bound for Israeli arms maker Elbit Systems on a Paris–Tel Aviv flight Thursday.

The CGT and Solidaires unions at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport say they were alerted by Urgence Palestine and the Palestinian Youth Movement that flight AF966, scheduled to depart at 9:35 a.m. on Oct. 8, will carry French-made "gearheads," planetary gear reducers used in military vehicle systems.

The unions say the cargo was sent from Saint-Étienne via Lyon and is destined for Elbit Systems Land, which makes turrets, artillery, mortars and munitions.

"Not one flight to feed the war machine!" the unions said. They stated that the shipment would violate France's obligations under the Arms Trade Treaty and the Genocide Convention.

What’s happening with China’s economy?

I don’t know.

I don’t think anyone does.

Economies are complex systems, too big and dynamically predictable to understand.

But something is definitely happening.

I think that China is being scared.

Scared to spend money.

Scared to go out and eat, drink, and be merry.

Scared to make love, to live life.

“Economy is bad.”

“Ai will take my job.”

With its manufacturing (atoms, not bits) China probably has the most AI-resistant economy in the world.

And things are getting cheaper every year.

Salaries are rising in most places while food is less.

Imagine that.

But people just aren’t spending.

It feels like the country and its people has worked itself into a psychological funk that it cannot break itself out of.

The solution is to just stop being scared and go out and live.

Meanwhile, America needs to the opposite.

It needs to stop being stupid.

It needs to save, stop doing drugs, work harder etc.

Like I said in the video, both countries would be better off if they imitated each other a bit.

America, stop being stupid.

China, stop being scared.
