What was #BYJUS? Just a sales pitch.
We all have heard about it, never seen it.
>500 crores in refunds owed to more than 1 lakh families is stuck now
Tomorrow, 24th November. 3 PM. Live. Link below.
@whirlybirdguy@fortis_hospital Answer him Fortis. You were buying fake cancer medicines!? You have got bills and all right? Prove that you never procured any meds from Veeresh Jain.
@fortis_hospital and why do you have such fake looking X handle for support/care? "@CareFortis17151" ?
@malpani Sadly, graffiti never really caught on among Indian youth. I loved doing it back in my student days, especially messing around with posters. If you can’t remove them, deface them.
AI’s underlying purpose is to let wealth access skill while taking away the skilled person’s ability to access wealth.
I hope all these people make random hand gestures while working, just to confuse the training models, so that all those future humanoids end up having random glitches.
@hsr071@TheLallantop@NehaDhiman1004@hemraj____ The mall was there in 2012 too, afaik. Nobody raised this issue for 14 years, and once this news dies down, nobody will ask about it again for a long time.
So ask now, while people are paying attention, before the next thing starts trending and everyone moves on.
I hope some of you now understand why demanding ₹1 crore compensation for the families of students who died by su!c!de was not a good idea. Students saw the protests, the 20 students being called “martyrs,” their photos on posters and in newspapers, and their names being announced from the stage as if they were warriors. Adding a ₹1 crore compensation demand could create unintended incentives or glorification around such deaths.
If the number of such cases rises next year, who takes responsibility? Demands like these should at least have been discussed with child psychologists and suicide-prevention experts first.
#IITBombay
Open letter to CJP @abhijeet_dipke , @Wangchuk66.
In short: 1. Change your slogan/poster. Instead of demanding the current Education Minister's resignation, call for the best Education Minister the country has ever had.
2. Reconsider ₹1 Crore Compensation Demand. Reasons mentioned in the letter.
@AshutoshRanka
@waitin4agi_ Yeah, because you said so, we should all hand over our personal data to Zuckerberg. Totally trustworthy guy. What could possibly go wrong!
@Shitpost_Media_ To make shitty content seem acceptable in society, YouTube has been making its own product worse. Even Jawed Karim, one of YouTube’s co-founders, opposed removing the dislike count, but they went ahead and did it anyway.
NPTEL has 100x more valuable content than many of these paid edtech courses marketed by so-called “industry specialists.”
I learned a lot from NPTEL during my graduation, and much of that content was genuinely useful.
NPTEL certainly needs a revamp in presentation, user experience, and outreach. With the right upgrades, it could compete directly with these edtech platforms.
@amitkilhor After Helpbyravikant, Second such Youtube Channel: Help Boy Ajay.
There are many such channel who dig up the perfectly ok road first and then cover it with basic retta bajri to get views.
Ye khud roads khod rahe hai.

@amitkilhor gaddhe bhi fake hai. Ladke khud pothole khod rahe hai views ke lia.
There are at least 5–6 YouTube channels doing this, mostly from MP. I first came across this YouTube channel and warned this guy, RaviKant, but he won’t stop. Then more such channels started appearing in my feed. Check this video, the comments, and then his previous videos. Initially, they actually repaired a pothole and got views. When the views started dropping, they apparently got the idea to dig up the road themselves. All the potholes in their later videos were created by them.

Yup. Saw this coming 2 years ago. Saying it again, Putting salesmen as education counsellors is the fastest way to introduce unethical practices in an edtech.
And with recent PW FinZ Finance partnership, looks like more such cases will come up.
Ban Multi-Year Course Sales/EMIs in EdTech, allow only monthly Subscription Models -- The simplest solution to end unethical sales practices and refund issues in EdTech.
#Byjus even scammed people from Columbia!
On one hand they kept marketing nationalism while actually they were shaming India internationally.
#ByjusRefund 131
@BYJUS@ByjusSupport We paid for a course with you and for almost 2 months you have been suspending classes due to alleged technical problems, but no one responds to us in support or in any way. There is also no refund of payment. It would be good to know what is happening with this company.
@PTI_News Trauma for life for these school going kids.
You sure all the kids were rescued? Then what are these people searching for in the gutter? https://t.co/8Hs4AIqCSq
