Different people do different things for different reasons with different outcomes. I try to build relationships with a cool head and a warm heart, with open eyes and ears and a closed mouth. I keep in mind that the root of the word compassion is “to struggle with”. No one wants to be treated as a part of a “project”.

Wearing tactical shooting gear, running drills with air guns, in a country that prohibits gun ownership.
Putting a WC with holding tank INSIDE the house instead of OUTSIDE.
Pumping the holding tank out, driving to the rice paddy and pumping out the truck INTO the rice paddy.
No Mexican food or BBQ unless you’re in a major city.
