Tony Williams led a choir in a Jakarta tunnel as a tribute to Ye.
On Sunday, October 18, 2026, Ye’s cousin, longtime collaborator, and Sunday Service Choir member led “Tunnel Vision: An Ode to Ye” in a pedestrian underpass in SCBD, South Jakarta.
Organized by Raw Vision Collective, the event brought together around 35 choir members for a 15-song Ye medley, including “FourFiveSeconds,” “CARNIVAL,” “Street Lights,” “Moon,” and “Ghost Town.” The performance blended contemporary arrangements with traditional Indonesian rhythms, particularly the kendang, featuring local singer Angel Pieters, Dre Synth, and Glorify TLE, with Williams as musical director.
Streamed live on Instagram and TikTok, the performance was part of the buildup to Ye’s October 24 concert at GBK Stadium, bringing a gospel-style choir experience to an underground space in the Indonesian capital.
