Facts: Kratom is Mitragyna speciosa, coffee family. Deaths from kratom alone are vanishingly rare — take too much and you vomit. Heart failure has dozens of causes; alcohol leads the list. "Doctors considered a transplant" tells us nothing about what caused it.

Meanwhile fentanyl kills 200+ Americans a day. Pick your outrage accordingly.
