Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
Often have I purposed to be wholly thine, โ to serve thee alone, โ to give up my whole life to thy service: and thou hast heard me, and taken me at my word; and given me that heritage, the privilege of enjoying thee in thy ordinances, which is the lot of them that fear thy name.
... the moment when Christ returns, and His people are transformed, body and soul, into His likeness... on that day, the spotlight of history will not be on human achievement, but on what Godโs grace has made of His sons and daughters. Dawn to Dusk
Yet on the third day, the tomb was empty, and the verdict of heaven was clear: darkness cannot hold the Light. โThe light shinesโ is present tense; He is still shining, still pursuing, still overcoming.
The darkness around us is never ultimate. It is loud, it is real, it is painfulโbut it is not final. The Light has already invaded enemy territory. When Christ went to the cross, it looked as if the darkness had finally swallowed Him.

โKeep thy heart with all diligenceโ is more than a wise saying; it is a solemn charge laid upon us by the One who cares most about us. To it we should give the most careful heed lest at any time we should let it slip. AW Tozer
Hallowed by Your name,โ we say in the Lordโs Prayer; we should be careful that Godโs name is always hallowed in our thought and in our conversation also, that it is never used lightly or irreverently.
God's gifts are many; His best gift is one. It is the gift of Himself. Above all gifts, God desires most to give Himself to His people. Our nature being what it is, we are the best fitted of all creatures to know and enjoy God.
