@john_s_common @Fat_Electrician Pretty sure the wolves get their resources from their prey. They don't need tokens, but then again they don't want a flat-screen tv
@UpTambourine@iWomansplainer Absolute best play value there is. Once they get that they can make anything with sand and/or water, they have unlimited new toys for years.
@smithjosephy@Rosie_Gamgee_ The one with the dude whose father was a war hero, but he was scared to stand up to the criminals, and then afterwards he finds out his father was scared before his own battle. I liked that one
@beyondwaiting Blatant disobedience is called defiance. Defiance from small humans who don't understand reason, or cause and effect, naturally results in pain. Either you do it or reality will do it for you. Reality doesn't love your children.
@TheEbonyMaw This isn't sad, this is the revelation of human nature. Young children need the stick. As they get older they value the carrot more than they fear the stick. Your job is to help them overcome their baser instincts as soon as possible
@jan_siba@hanno_sauer His is the rational view. We don't let strangers or casual acquaintances babysit our children or have access to our bank accounts for a reason. It's not that everyone is an enemy, it's just that very few people are motivated to protect our interests over their own
@arrtnem Oh for God's sake, either have children or don't. Just stop trying to make us participate in your angst and neurosis. People who have children both sacrifice the most and benefit the most from their decision, but none of us escape judgement for whatever we choose
@anenglishteachr Some of us teachers of a certain age used to spend early-year instructional time on "don't you dare fucking ask me when you have access to the information you need to complete the task" lessons. I guess that's not done anymore.
@DataloreT@EveKeneinan Those are real problems, but don't conflate the system that has greatly reduced poverty with the post modern policies that are affecting the Americam middle class.
@DataloreT@EveKeneinan I suppose after purging what, 50+ million people, rates of poverty would naturally go down. Then opening your country to receive off shored jobs from Capitalist nations.
