Okay, if the politicians of our time are connected to “us” because they were elected into office, then the politicians of “your” time (which is today) are your problem. And guess what… it’s the same damned failed people. But, you get to take credit for the new socialists out there… the ones that want way more than social security!

I would never vote for a single person to enact the failed systems we have today, but it’s all theater, the system is beyond corrupt and if you think you can fix, step right up and get it done. I’ll vote you.

But, to sit there and blame people due to their age is wrong. Just like me hanging the future socialists of America on you would be wrong.

Would you be okay with paying in 7% of your earnings knowing that for the rest of your life this money would earn exactly zero percent interest?
I’m cool with your proposal, but not if it’s interest free… makes no sense. Every dollar that I choose to save and invest, I expect to earn interest and so do you.

You also understand the real reason the government won’t do this is because it keeps them from giving that pool of money to people who didn’t pay into it.

I don’t know where you’re getting your stats from but it appears that you’re missing a large group of people…. Those who pay into and die before a single penny is received.
