Nigerians please we need justice for Elozino Joshualia Ogege. My secondary school friend. She wasn’t just a classmate, she was my friend we sat together in school. She was a decent girl. Elo was not wayward.

They killed her Nigerians. They plucked her eyes while she was alive, breast and heart before she died.

She was a brilliant student, a first-class student from 100 level to 300 level at Delta State University Delsu.

She only went to look for a house to rent Nigerians😭

She told a security man working in DELSU, Onoriode (Onos), who had access to the school environment that she was looking for a house, he then told her he would help her get accommodation. That was how he lured her. Delsu claimed they are contract staff from a security company. Guess what? This security man is an Ex-convict.

He did not act alone.

He worked with other Yahoo boys including Desmond and their gang and with the help of a security supervisor identified as Nwosisi Benedict Uche. The mastermind was a Yahoo boy who came from Ghana, and got those Yahoo boys to look for a girl for ritual for him. He had 2 houses already in Abraka. Elo was not their first victim.

They planned it.

They waited for her inside the school environment, campus 3, overpowered her by putting something on her face and took her away.

They drove her out of Abraka into a bush.

According to their own confession, Elozino was crying and begging them to let her go even after they took her eyes alive she was still begging them. 😭

But they did not stop.

They killed her and removed parts of her body for ritual purposes to use for what they call “Yahoo Plus” money rituals.

They took those parts to a native doctor identified as Ojokojo Robinson Obajero, who they believed would perform money rituals for them.

The police tracked her phone and arrested them after the family reported she was missing because they couldn't reach her.

The Delta State Police PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed that the suspects confessed and that the crime started as a missing person case before turning into a murder investigation.

Even the Commissioner of Police at the time, Muhammad Mustafa, confirmed arrests and said they were ritual killers.

One of the masterminds even died while trying to escape arrest.

But since 2018… what has happened? Elon have had no justice since 2018.

The case has been in court. Adjournment after adjournment.
Delay after delay. Years have passed. No clear justice. Are they bringing the judge?

My friend left her house to look for accommodation and never came back.

She trusted the wrong person a security man inside her own school. Delsu refused to show concern for their negligence. How can you employ an Ex-convict? Why would a security company employ an Ex-convict?

Elo is gone we know but we want justice. And till today, it feels like justice is still being delayed.

Nigerians, how long will this continue? How long will young girls keep dying like this? How long will cases like this be forgotten?

Please speak up. Please don’t let this case die. Please people I'm begging y'all to help us speak. They already confessed to doing it. They should have been sentenced to death already. All the people involved.

Ya Allah... if tonight is Laylatul Qadr, then write me among those forgiven. Among those freed from the Fire. Among those whose destinies were changed because they cried to You sincerely. Let angels witness my tears and carry my du'as to the heavens.

Ya Allah... I am asking You for Jannah. Not because I deserve it, but because You are Al-Kareem. Save me from the Hellfire, even if my deeds are small. Let Your mercy be greater than my failures.

Ya Allah… when this night ends let me wake up as someone different. Cleaner. Softer. Closer to You. Do not let this be just another Ramadan night I wasted. Let it be the night that changed my eternity.

Ya Allah… if this is the night You descend with mercy, then do not pass me by. Do not let my name be written among the heedless. I am standing at Your door with nothing but hope.

3. Some organisations even have funding for participants who do not have special roles. They are called attendees

4. If you have an area of interest, reading about it is great but not enough.

5. Go to conferences and meet people. Many of these are fully funded.

6. Take few minutes, and use modern tech to your own advantage.

Get a long bottle of antiperspirants or basically anything cylinder shaped and slender. The longer the better.

1. If your compound is messy, it’s not “normal.”
It’s a habitat.
Tall grass, bushes, abandoned blocks, woodpiles = snake Airbnb.

2. Snakes don’t chase humans.
They chase food.
Rats, frogs, and lizards around your house mean you’re feeding snakes indirectly.

3. Open dustbins = open buffet.
Poor waste management attracts rodents.
Rodents attract snakes.

4. That tiny crack in your wall?
To a snake, that’s a front door.
Seal wall cracks, fix broken fences, and cover drains with wire mesh.

5. Water is a silent magnet.
Leaking taps, open soakaways, and stagnant gutters bring frogs and insects.
Where prey gathers, predators follow.

6. Smells matter.
Snakes rely on scent.
Sulphur powder, neem, garlic/onion spray, clove & cinnamon oil can help disrupt their trail.

7. Stop believing harmful myths.

What to do when Snake bites

Alot of people initially panic, but please either you or the person that is biting needs to be brave.

Immediately you're bitten, get POWDERED CHARCOAL and rub it on the bite spot and seek for proper medical attention. The charcoal helps to neutralize the venom, give you leeway and help with improvement

If you live close to bushes, have children around, or you've seen snakes in your area, Please have powdered charcoal around you. In farming communities when you see black powder you'll think it's jazz but it's only powdered charcoal we use to neutralize a lot of insects, spiders and reptiles bite.

Repeling Snake in your surroundings.

There's a plant Yorubas call Taba or Tobacco plant, it's a natural snake repellant plant. You only need the seed or cut a branch and plant it. They can survive anywhere. Plant it at the front or backyard or any entrance of your house. No snake will come near you.

Avoiding Snake in your rooms or plumbing.

You need Garlic, Garlic is potent against snakes. Peel garlic and throw some cloves around your living rooms, kitchen and backyard or front yard. The smell repel them.

To avoid it in your plumbing, blend alot of garlic and hot pepper and boil water. Mix the blended garlic, blended pepper and the hot water together. Pour it inside your water closet and flush it. Pour same in your toilet hand wash basin, pour in your bathroom water outlets. Any water outlets pour this mixture. Those snake, insects or dangerous animals can't withstand it.

Beyond this, you need to ensure your surroundings are safe, clear bush timely, clear narrow bush part, ensure cleanliness and have Garlic and Powdered charcoal in your house incase.of anything.

I went out to earn my daily 2k as an Olokada on this fateful day

Dressed in our regalia with a helmet for protection and an overall to minimize cold, I was far away from connection A for Apple, B for Bag ....

Two ladies boarded my bike for a long distance ride. Midway through the journey, they planned how to cheat me. All conversation was done in English on the assumption that I was a stark illiterate. I maintained my steeze.

When we arrived at their destination, they activated their cheating plan - one of them got off under the pretense that she'll get money from home to pay me. Phone was relatively new and POS wasn't a thing.

A few minutes later, the second passenger said: "What is holding her now? We've got other businesses to attend to"

Turning to me, "Bro, I don't know what's holding my friend, let me go and check her out"

That was the final part of their plan. Once she leaves, she'll connect with her friend elsewhere and disappear into thin air.

I stopped her and she created a scene.

People gathered

My colleagues parked one after the other asking "No Story (my alias in the okada park), what happened?"

Well-meaning people intervened and asked why the drama. She narrated what went wrong and I gave my side of the story, including their cheating scheme

When she eventually paid, the experience triggered a sober reflection.

What if I was an illiterate? Those ladies who have successfully played on my ignorance and cheated me.

I asked myself: "Are these ladies better than me academically?"

When I reached home, I decided to pursue a degree.

I wrote my first test as an OND student on my 30th birthday and eventually graduated as the Best Graduating Student in my set.

The result motivated me to pursue my first degree in Computer Science / Mathematics, OAU.

That decision changed my life for good
