I’m deeply honored to share that I voice Yosuke Hanamura in Persona 4 Revival.
I know how much this series and specifically this title means to Persona fans, so I just want you all to know the immeasurable amount of care and consideration that went into the recording of this game.
With that said, I’d also like to acknowledge the unbelievable shoes I’m filling, and with that comes immense reverence and gratitude. I can only hope to capture some of what made Yosuke so special to so many people, while bringing my own voice to the role.
A tremendous thanks to @Atlus_West and Studiopolis for trusting me and the rest of the cast to deliver a Revival worthy of your time.
I hope y’all have a blast experiencing Inaba, Junes, and this beautiful cast of characters, whether for the first time or once again in a new iteration. “I’ll be countin’ on ya, Partners‼️”~ 📺
To say that this is the biggest honor and privilege of my career to date is an understatement. Even as I type this, I still can't fully believe it.
I am the English voice of the Protagonist - Yu in Persona 4 Revival.
My endless gratitude to @Atlus_West and Studiopolis for putting their faith in me. Truthfully no amount or combination of words can encapsulate the gratitude I have in this moment.
For the elephant in the room: my cast and I stand on the shoulders of giants. We all grew up on monumental and iconic performances and the amount of respect we have toward our predecessors cannot be overstated. Truthfully I know that this news comes to the chagrin of many and I would be lying if I said I haven't been nervous about this reveal. I want to make it clear that I see myself solely as an iteration. Johnny will forever be my and many people's GOAT and I can only hope to aspire to his greatness. I did my best to do right by both him as well as the fandom.
At the end of the day, I know that not everyone will be happy, and that's okay. I just hope that you give us a chance and know that I am grateful if in the end that is all you do.
Thank you for your support 💛
if that scene is gonna be the way the anime ends it's gonna be a sweet note sure but I'm gonna be so disappointed because the anime built this all up in a way so much more romantic than the manga this is gonna be the worst way to lose chess to the dog
caught up to ep 12 of Nakamura I'm on insane copium that the Hana thing being introduced so late onto the ep and Nakamura's reaaction being so overdramaticized means my hopes for anime only ending have been completely shattered
