Claro que é muito útil trazer casos mais práticos e tudo mais, o que se não me engano você faz em vários pontos do seu curso.

@cibelerusso Um curso sobre um tópico fundamental deve te ensinar fundamentos o suficiente para que você consiga aprender em cima depois.

Normalmente louds a gente consegue cobrir mais essa parte abstrata/geral. Mesmo quando não feito na lousa, não acho dispensável. (...)

@import_robs Gostava de vir no Twitter para ver conversas sobre pesquisa e IA. Mas a rede tá incentivando muito posta raivosos ou esses baits de ansiedade, e agora só tem isso (até mesmo de pesquisadores que eu respeito que agora estão em empresas grandes de IA). Triste.

@jjcarett2 @jurgenvinju I wish there were hidden/missing reviews. In this case the AC basically disagreed with the reviewers and considered our paper to not be significant enough.

Questionable decision, to say the least.

Our paper submitted to COLT got reject even thought it got 3 positive reviews (all weak accepts).

So new achievement unlocked: angry tweeting about conference reviews! I feel more like an academic now.

So far my experience in the PhD is alternating between
- Being overwhelmed with the pressure of too many things to do, and
- Being overwhelmed with the pressure of having no clue what to do.

I can sense the natural next step is to experience both at the same time.
