Trump has just delivered a homicidal rant, in which he has justified the illegal attack on Iran, threatened further bombings and congratulated Netanyahu for waging a genocidal war against Gaza. Whatever the immediate military consequences of the bombing, billions of people across the globe, and millions within the US, now view the Trump administration as a criminal regime. The American oligarchy has taken yet another step toward the political abyss.

Many reservations also report deep poverty rates (families earning less than half the poverty threshold) that are up to six times higher than the national average. Approximately 26-27% of Native Americans live in poverty, more than double the national average of 12.4%

Many homes on reservations are overcrowded, with multiple families sharing small spaces. For example, on the Pine Ridge Reservation, an average of 17 people live in homes with only two or three bedrooms.

Ironically, for all of the attacks by the Trump administration on immigrants, there is never any discussion on the plight of the true native Americans.

About 40% of homes on reservations are considered inadequate, often lacking running water, electricity, or proper heating.
