Just heard my portrait was rejected for the BP portrait award :o( Every year there seem to be more entries! 2100 this time.

Very busy with an exhibition. A lot of work that I sold is coming back for this weekend. Looking forward to seeing it all again.

@MaryJaneAnsell re: the feud. LOL great story. Hirst has got no sense of humor, doesn't go with his artpieces :o)

@sedona76 Zest-it does the same as turps, you can clean brushes with it or mix it with your oils to dilute. Has a bit of a lemony smell.

Using http://zest-it.com for cleaning my brushes and mixing my paint. It works great! Biodegradable and because the paint settles reusable!

Designed postcards of my work today and sent them to the printers. Hope the colors will be ok!

Went to the beach today and no that it is a bit less hot, working in my studio. It's great to be able to plan my own day!

Cleaned up my studio and ready to start painting. I have so much work in the upcoming months, I need to paint daily. Looking forward to it!

Back to work today after 4 weeks of vacation. Did a lot of outdoor painting in France and Spain. Now it's back to portrait painting.
