What about when @wesstreeting cancelled all suppliers NHS purchase orders
Some for nearly 12 months all the small businesses that had to close - sack their staff - because of it - the stock they had bought to fulfill orders, bills still had to be paid no one mentioned this - No notice was given it was disastrous - I had friends that hung in - had to forgo salaries borrowed from family and friends made arrangements for payments for outgoings.
Tech companies also suffered & could not recoup….
Not a lot of people in government gave any thought to this - especially @AngelaRayner with her dreadful workers Rights policies That woman never run a business - should never be put in charge of business or employment laws - She got 17K severance pay when she was sacked and still had a job that paid her 100K …
