@ljmontello Oh we’ve ALL had a friend that moved to Lancaster or Palmdale. They all hated the commute within a few months & couldn’t move bc no one will buy there.

They tried like 20 years ago to build that area up w/ homes & it never took. Zero jobs. Horrible weather. Tons of crime.

@ElBurroDOro @Mericamemed That is the nature of shift work. Companies can staff locations with ridiculously cheap, part-time employees they don’t have to offer benefits to.

The downside is, you get people looking for part-time work & willing to take crap wages. Usually ppl in school or w/ other incomes.
