@JamesBarnaby On the plus side, Brazil is one of your fave films right? And it's now come true!

One of the best (& prettiest) games I've ever played. Brilliant score. Brilliant script. #gonetotherapture #PS4share

[Peter @posmens]

In the interests of balance: Loved Boyhood, Grand Budapest and Whiplash too - a ridiculously strong Oscar year.

[Peter @posmens]

Maintaining my annual tradition of doing an Oscars tweet: So glad Birdman won. An offbeat choice for the Academy, and an unusually good one.

[Peter @posmens]

@BryonyMegD @LucyJRees Going a bit mad on the social media aren't you! What'll it be next? A MySpace page?

[Peter @posmens]

Since last tweet was about Awards, here's another: Glad 12 Years A Slave won Best Picture, and glad Gravity won pretty much everything else.

Finally saw American Hustle. Pretty good, but a bit disposable & forgettable in a similar way to Argo. It'll probs win Best Picture then...

[Peter @posmens]

Just finished seeing The Artist at the Albert Hall. Was brilliant (as expected). Get tkts for tomorrow if you can!

[Peter @posmens]

Visited Ogilvy's offices v. briefly last year. Such a great atmosphere. Wanted to return ever since! Maybe #ogilvyopennight is my chance?

[Peter @posmens]

Brilliant day watching the LSO rehearse the score for The Artist. Got to meet the composer afterwards & natter about him winning an Oscar.

Was great bumping into @KermodeMovie earlier after watching Kermode & Mayo's show being recorded - thanks so much for chatting afterwards.

[Peter @posmens]

On my way to BBC 5 Live's studio to see Kermode and Mayo's film review show being recorded. Should be brilliant. #HelloToJasonIsaacs

[Peter @posmens]

@MissHClose (I'm now imagining him befriending a grumpy-looking pig for the duration of the series...)

[Peter @posmens]

@MissHClose He's borrowed a FARM! That suggests increased personal interaction with people (or at the very least, animals)!

[Mark Kermode @KermodeMovie]

So, @NeilKBrand knocked it out of the ballpark with Part 1 of his superb BBC4 series on cinema music. A real treat all round.

[Peter @posmens]

@Ed_Frankl Not a composing one (Oxford don't offer it), but my research will be on media music. Then it's back to the real world again!

[Peter @posmens]

Very much looking forward to Neil Brand's Sound of Cinema documentary on BBC4 - should be great preparation for the impending Masters.
