@YepItsF_cked 5 months of watching the US flounder around the strait of Hormuz and getting our asses handed to us by Iran, and you think we should go to war with fucking CHINA? Lmaoooooooooo
@RealChrisJaxon Yet to the capitalist, deregulation works rather well. Without all those pesky rules and regulations, the commodities they deal in are even cheaper to produce, leaving more profit to extract!
So long as they can stay in business, the quality of their products doesn't matter.
@chuckydizzle14 But yeah humanity is an objectively irredeemable invasive species. The worst thing life on earth has done to itself since the great oxidation event
@chuckydizzle14 *Americans (proletariats lobotomized by capitalists). If you want some faith in humanity, look to the past at the USSR, and to the future at China
@RockvilleTC You're living in a fascist surveillance state and being recorded 24/7 through everything from flock cameras to your neighbor's doorbell, and your dumbass is worried about Chinese spies?
@RockvilleTC Great idea! Preventing US students from networking with the most well educated people on earth while also incentivising China to further invest into its educational systems will all but ensure that America falls hopelessly behind the rest of the world in technology!
@LLBiggers The adaptations you speak of are artificial. Humans adapt through artifice, while every other organism adapts through evolution. The crisis is that evolution won't be able to keep up with anthropogenic climate change, which threatens to disrupt/destroy every ecosystem on earth.
@r_u_thinking "Low IQ" only insecure pseudo-intellectuals put faith in that shit. Grow up. And while you're at it, give me an interpretation of what you think he means by "error[s] in the way temperatures are measured" here that doesn't make him sound like a moron.
@1791_mike See so it's not easy to relax these days, what with all the concrete studies and data showing that anthropogenic climate change is going to make the planet uninhabitable for us in a few years. Like we genuinely do not have a future here
@Reza272238 If those French dipshits wanted to live, they should've simply stayed in France. They had no right to exist in Haiti and got what they deserved
@1791_mike Yeah, your passing WILL be hard bro, we all starving to death by at most 2050 after climate collapse wipes out our food supply chain. "B-but think of the economy!" we are going to fucking die
@LisaFevral The opportunistic capitalist elite literally don't do anything, though. The impact they have on the world is entirely dependent on countless other humans. Functionally, everyone involved is complacent. Nobody can "but I was just following orders" their way out of this one
@xriskology True! I'd argue that once humanity evolved the ability to artificially circumvent environmental pressures, it was over. Technology advances faster than evolution can keep up, and without nothing able to keep us in check, the Holocene extinction became inevitable.
