Wonder how they manage to tweet so much from China where X is banned & VPNs are restricted...
@SouthernM46171@elonmusk If EU, United States, India, Vietnam, and the UK completely eliminated their bilateral trade deficits with China, China would lose approximately $924.0 billion in direct trade surplus—wiping out 77.7% of its $1.189 trillion total global surplus.
@SouthernM46171@elonmusk Factoring in the Hong Kong re-export effect (Chinese goods routed through Hong Kong bound for those exact six markets), China’s actual surplus loss would exceed $1.05 trillion (88%+), pushing its overall global trade balance into a net deficit.
real human development happens when money stops being a concern.
Until then economy remains in the driver seat, and human development may occur because of that but HD remains means to economic ends.
the business model of social media and governance are running on contradictory path.
Hate speech -generates profits for social media sites and creates unrest in governance
tied together - social media giants if profiting off creating challenge to governance.
Phones for larger part of time now have become jack of all trades master of none.
Every year , there's some camera improvement and that is reason for upgrade?
Just buy a basic phone and a digital dslr, problem solved.
Unless that concession asymmetrically benefits India.
Use everyone, commit to none.
Same thing China will do to India, once its economic precarity improves. India should not forget 2014,2017,2020.
An emboldened china is a difficult partner.

India-China relations can never be normal. Or atleast until China willingly gives up Occupied ladakh and stop its cartographic aggression in north east.
for people chanting normalisation of ties, are novice. Same are the people chanting normalisation of ties b/w China-US.
similarly, US-China cannot be friends.
India should dismiss the argument of india-china bonhomie as Red-herring.
China suffers economically, is good for india. No agreement, should be signed based on this red herring, neither any concession should be given to China.
when we turn 'polarisation to profit' as business model be it in political sphere, cultural sphere etc.
why do we act surprised when we will find our society polarised?

One day they stand against cheating, one day they stand in support. Why? Because they can! and that should be reason enough.
India's air may not be pristine but it allows people to breathe. Growth will happen at its pace. Blood & tears is not the cost we are willing to pay!
Its futile to compare India & China.
China did not happen behind the back of India. What they did was visible and undesirable.
Boasting an economy worth $20trn at the cost of blood and tears of chinese citizens is not what any country should aspire.

No doubt such societies become cold. When violence is normalised, when voice is sacrificed, when life is taken away at altar of growth - what even remains of life at this point?
Do not compare this to India. The best thing about India is that people are not robots here.
3\n China curbed familial desires and micromanaged people's sexual choices. They have treated people as literal sheeps, chopping this down, trimming that down as & when needed. Such arrogant power to discipline citizens at such micro level even violates Foucault's theory.

Boasting growth for the sake of growth. When do we ask cost of this growth? Why do we ignore that growth is not teleological but deontological i.e. Growth is done "for the people" NOT "of the people".
China fired millions when state PSUs ran in debts.
