Welp, I unfortunately had to go back to @Xfinity@XfinitySupport because @GloFiber isn’t ready yet for my neighborhood. Hopefully it’s there soon - already had to spend an hour chatting to AI and still can’t get a person to resolve an issue before Xfinity service even starts.
✅ 1/20/25 Republicans took control of White House + Senate + House.
❌They expanded spending beyond Biden’s budget, causing U.S. debt to increase $2.7 trillion since then.
👎I voted against this excessive spending and that’s why the swamp wants me gone.
👍I keep my promises!
On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted.
Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.
I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.
I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this.
The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon.
You know who has nuclear weapons?
Israel.
They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.
Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing.
On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies.
Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians.
Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace.
Not escalating war that is hurting people.
This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most.
This is not making America great again, this is evil.
I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire.
It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane
It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs.
Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ?
Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us.
Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.
It's amusing to watch the same people who went from "No Foreign Wars" to "Yay, Foreign Wars" also go from "Never speak ill of the dead" to "Yay, Mueller is dead" all in the same month
Disappointed in @lyft tonight. Said it would be an 7-12 minute wait. Used the entire time before assigning a driver & then that driver was still 16 minutes away. At that point I would had just paid more for @Uber. Tried to contact support but couldn’t until the ride was completed
So far we’ve heard that although we killed the whole Iranian regime, this was not a regime change war. And although we obliterated their nuclear program, we had to do this because of their nuclear program. And although Iran was not planning any attacks on the US, they also might have been, depending on who you ask. And although we are not fighting this war to free the Iranian people, they are now free, or might be, depending on who seizes power, and we have no idea who that will be. The messaging on this thing is, to put it mildly, confused.
For all Canadians saying they were the better team….
On George Washington’s birthday, let me remind you…the British were the better team.
And yet the Americans still won their independence.
