"While security space is increasingly protected from impacts of ultraviolet radiation, the borderland public space is routinely exposed.” - An Ultraviole(n)t Border by Ersela Kripa & Stephen Mueller @postborders at https://t.co/V3AZqQGMl8
The border cuts through miles of desert that offer amazing learning opportunities but unsafe levels of UV exposure. Ersela Kripa and Stephen Mueller joined us to describe their ongoing project to keep kids shaded while they learn.
In "Over-exposed: Ultraviole(n) Shade in the Borderland," Ersela Kripa & Stephen Mueller of @TexasTech will encourage students to investigate ultraviolet radiation exposure in the El Paso-Ciudad Juárez metroplex.
NUEVO en Arquine | En 2015, los arquitectos Ersela Kripa y Stephen Mueller viajaron por el suroeste de los Estados Unidos estudiando los espacios urbanos militarizados. La @ArchLeague de New York habló con ellos. | https://t.co/uvvXIgtyjK
