@qlour_kvl re: instability, i haven't been able to pinpoint a trend as to WHY it's crashing, but it seems like random mundane edits will cause the program to crash (splitting a note and rendering, changing a lyric, etc.) and i don't see any verbose errors anywhere that could say why

@qlour_kvl yeah! i draw by hand but vocaloid portamento by default is a bit too long for my taste so i tend to make it a bit sharper :> it's not a huge deal it's just a little QoL thing

as far as instability, i'll expand in another reply
