Neither rain, nor sleet, nor #KnicksInFive can keep us from our appointed routes — for 250 years and counting, America’s dedicated letter carriers are always ready to deliver!
For more than 250 years, letter carriers have been there. Our history predates the founding of the nation we proudly serve. Through floods, pandemics, and more, on horseback and on foot, or by just about every mode of transportation imaginable, we have delivered for every home and business counting on us. That tradition is ours to carry forward, and we will.

This photo was taken in June 1970 by A.Michael Davies. He sent it me after reading my book, The Postal Paths, and reading about my walk along the 7-mile path on the Isle of Harris, Scotland. It's a rugged coastal path but postman Duncan MacInnes still wore with pride his uniform.
Royal Mail delays caused real harm — from missed NHS appointments to late‑payment penalties.
Recruitment alone won’t fix it.
Today I pressed @RoyalMail to work with the CWU to end unfair two‑tier contracts.
Our communities and our posties deserve better.
