@afrocosmist X-Men is already an amazing cartoon but suffers from having the same aesthetic of so many toyslop shows of the time. BTAS mogs by getting an actual comic artist as art director im afraid. Now imagine, in a perfect world, an X-Men cartoon thats based on john byrne art? Damn
@toastertartspt3 there's a ton of historical records of union soldiers at the beginning of the war being like "well i know a lot of abolitionists but im unsure the issue, really I care more about keeping the union together" and towards the end of the war those same guys were talking like JDPON
bread is stale and the circus sucks. Clown is jacking off. Lion tamer ODing on opiates. Lion is bloated dead. Magician is actually cutting the lady in half in real life. But Iโll keep watching. Itโs actually not bad I take it back. They got a big thing of narcan for the elephant.
@jakebrodes "strongfat" gets thrown around a little too often these days for guys that do blue collar and work out but drink 100 beers a week. and its true, those guys could probably also fold alot of guys no problem, but theyre nothing like the True Strongfat Big Dawgs we used to have
@posting_forever in any case my point is medieval peasants would have not cared that much about hot chips or voodoo ranger but would have loved Medium Density Fiberboard
@posting_forever and, as is the case with almost anything that follows this track, mass access to a good comes at the cost that a bottom 50-75% of those goods price-wise are of an incredibly disposable low quality product that is not meant to last more than a few years. that's capital!
LOUIS THEROUX: (shouting at ceiling) Hi Wallace, it's Louis. Are you coming down?
V.O.: I'd been told to expect the unexpected when Wallace came down for breakfast.
WALLACE: Be there in a minute! Enjoy the show!
LOUIS: (to Gromit) Is this normal?
