Le roi est mort, vive le roi!
PostLab Classic has now officially shut down, and it fully replaced by its successor PostLab 2.0: https://t.co/3nmjE4oUHV
For all things PostLab 2.0, follow @hedgeforvideo 🙏
We're doing some impromptu maintenance on the NYC server in an effort to resolve its performance issue. NYC users won't have access for about an hour, others will get a notification that a server might be responding slowly.
We've noticed that our NYC server has lower performance than expected. Not everyone might be affected, but if you are reach out to see if we can get you going with an alternative solution.
@editblog Woohoo, Lucidlink is back online 🥳
Restart your PostLab, and be on your way!
When LucidLink shares their detailed post-incident report, we’ll be sure to update you on what happened and how they’re going to prevent that from happening, going forward.
A new day, but no change unfortunately. LucidLink: “Our teams worked on developing the process for service restoration all through the night. They will next test and begin the restoration process. We will provide the next status update by 8 am EST on Tuesday, April 30th.”
It’s been a while since there has been a disruption, but here we go:
LucidLink is having some troubles, so using Drive might be not possible for all of you.
This is quite out of our hands, but we’ll keep you updated as best as we can 🤞
It was brilliant to see @imbilldavis present @TrimEditing’s excellent work from Apple Park on Monday as a prelude to announcing 10.7
@thomasgcarter’s work in Final Cut Pro has been an inspiration for years, and here he shares a sneak peek of that timeline ⬇️

@Swoon_Jon @TristanDaviesTV We were not told that, instead we were encouraged to talk about eveything as much as we’d like - but not quote Apple on what was shared in the room. As with everything Apple, it’s all a bit vague but there’s quite some subtext when you’re in the room. That’s hard to convey here.
During yesterday’s Final Cut Pro keynote at the Apple-sponsored #fcpCreativeSummit, Apple showed a commercial edited by @thomasgcarter for Trim Editing where the soundtrack for the silent source footage was developed in Final Cut Pro https://t.co/U4TeZmF9az
