I'm a big fan of books with ornamentation. They are Lindy. Before the printing press, books had many drawings and designs on the pages to go along with texts. It makes the reading interesting. Indeed, it's why twitter is so addictive. its image plus text.

After the printing press, the designs disappeared and the book was just text
