@RealJamieKay@sillybugs55 Im not anti mask but you cant hear anyone speak when they have their mask on. Its a pain to keep remembering them and making sure its not fallen down when on and its horrible to see them scattered across the path.
@AgeUKHW Why are you using Brickfields to host your walking football sessions when there are no toilets or changing facilites? Would you like to use a venue like that yourselves? Use a sports centre or similar where there are facilites. Absolutely not on.
Today we say goodbye to our very own Queen Bee Jean 🐝
Jean was one in a million, an absolute diamond and a great ambassador for the city as well as our biggest supporter, she is greatly missed by so many, our thoughts are with Jean’s family and friends today 🧡🖤
Today, we're launching The Circuit – The National Defibrillator Network which will help save lives by connecting more defibrillators with ambulance services across the UK. https://t.co/L9NNzNssqB
Cressida Dick is a serial disgrace. What's her job exactly? Popping up and looking a bit shamefaced every few months? This all happened on her watch. She didn't just get into the job.
@DrJessTaylor Seeing all these horrible stories about police but when I was 18 I was walking home from pub myself in a fairly isolated part of town. Police car stopped, two officers gave me lift home and lectured me about staying safe. There's good and bad in all walks of life
@DrJessTaylor I’d like to know what @metpoliceuk think of this thread. Are they going to deny all of this? Are they going to say every one of these is made up? Are they going to silence debate but claim they’re listening?
Absolutely chilling. There are good officers. But how many are bad?
IMO
@DrJessTaylor@Babz1612 There is good and bad in every profession - Psychos appear to be ' the perfect candidate' for example. My own Dad was just a nagging pain the arse, but no malice with him x
@DrJessTaylor My daughter was a Special some years ago but left because of repeated sexual harrassment and general misogyny. She said some of the female officers were just as bad because they either ignored it, denied it was happening or said she should just accept it as 'part of the job'.
@DrJessTaylor Reading all this is heartbreaking. My daughter reported sexual assault. The policeman came round and said the man was drunk he didn’t know what he was doing. It’s not worth reporting. It really shouldn’t be like this. The man was known to police.
