@vtechthedev Nice one bro
I'm also currently learning with @NaijaJug bootcamp, they also have community where they organise sessions and discuss java related topics, you can check them out.
Java doesnt win hackathons.
It wins decades.
Legacy systems that survived 20 years are Java
Microservices at scale are Java
Monoliths that still print money are Java
Low-latency systems are Java
High-throughput systems are Java
Compliance heavy systems are Java
Regulated industries choose Java
Systems audited every quarter are Java
As a developer choose Java :
When correctness > hype
When stability > syntax sugar
When careers > trends
Excited to take the virtual stage to talk about an important programming paradigm.
Itโs always a privilege to connect with others in the tech community, share knowledge, and discuss the lessons that come from building, debugging, and continuously learning.

Typical Eifel weatherโฆ ๐ซ ๐ง๏ธ
The first NLS race had to be cancelled today due to weather and safety reasons. Weโre hoping for better conditions next week for the second race of the season! ๐ค
โน๏ธ Looking ahead to tomorrow gives us a bit of hope: the weather might improve enough for tourist drives to take place. But as we all knowโฆ Eifel weather is always unpredictable. ๐
Weโll keep you updated tomorrow morning, of course! ๐๐ผ๐

Spent hours trying to add Lombok to my Java project, only for Maven to keep failing.
After checking everything, the culprit was one capital letter:
<artifactId>Lombok</artifactId>
Maven is case sensitive. Changing it to lombok fixed it instantly.
Tiny typo. Big lesson. ๐
