@InkfaceFahz@Danidoesmagic Gives you the option to play a different deck every game. 10-12 people in my group will play for 5-7 hours sometimes. Having 10-12 decks on you allows each game to be different and match the power level of other decks people are playing with too.
@MTGSecretLair $250…. $50 increase. Yay, same amount of product but at a 20% price increase. Glad you’ve already scared me away with your prior mess ups. Singles and proxy is the way to go now.
@KevinFFIA@MTGSecretLair I’ve been playing the game on and off for the past 18 years. Over that time, I’ve only ever sold 1 card. If I’m a scalper, I’ve been doing g a horrible job at it I guess
@TheRealPhonyOne@BobbieChristxne Most do though. People aren’t lining up to open low value sets like aetherdrift or spider man. People spend their money where they can get the pack opening experience and have a chance of getting something decent. Exception is like vintage packs.
@Rickabod@MTGSecretLair Pretty much and why I canceled. The set is mainly common/uncommons. With limited supply, at least those cards will be a couple bucks and I can feel like I got my moneys worth. Now with unlimited printing, commons/uncommons will just be 10¢ cards. Not going to pay $20 for 10¢ bulk
@mykytametolkin@r3l0z@MTGSecretLair Not really, I feel the same and planned to open all my packs. Just when a limited product is no longer limited, it isn’t what I had signed up for.
@r3l0z@MTGSecretLair When mana crypt was banned, people flipped out, made threats/complained. It’s basically been said they will never unban it now as that shows making threats and complaining people will get their way. Now we are here, if you complain enough, WOTC will fold to the loudest complainer
@r3l0z@MTGSecretLair That’s why I canceled my preorder. Secret lairs are cool due to be limited, playing those cards are a bit more fun. When everyone has the cards, there isn’t anything special about them.
@teddessert@KevinFFIA@MTGSecretLair For SLs I buy, I account for the card value and art. For a regular SL that has cards worth more than $30 and good art, I buy it. No reason to spend $30 on $5 worth of cards. Makes more sense to just pick those up as singles. Zeta is $19.92 per pack for now bulk cards.
@myfriendbrenn@MTGSecretLair Same. The exclusive of secret lairs is what makes the cards unique and fun to play for me. Recently made a new deck where most the cards are from SL I’ve bought. It’s fun to play because it is different. Printing unlimited SL cards just makes them like any old regular common.
@KevinFFIA@MTGSecretLair No. I had ordered 12 packs and planned to open them. With an unlimited print, the value of any cards pulled will be way lower and makes more sense to just buy singles I want now. $19.92 per pack for what will be bulk priced cards isn’t a deal for me. Premium price for bulk.
@MTGSecretLair Please go back to using UPS. GOFO sucks. I’ve skipped the last few drops because I don’t want to deal with the new horrible shipping. Past orders have either shown up without any tracking, or are delayed. That and every box looks like it was stomped on.
@MTGSecretLair People will complain no matter what is done. It is ok if you don’t get every drop. I haven’t gotten every drop I want, and I’ve survived. Anyways, see y’all on the 14th 🫡
@9randomz@MTGSecretLair I did the same, and my order just reflects initiated. Saw other posts saying the chaos drop has already started shipping. Seeing the status hasn’t switched to in preparation, I’m guessing nothing will ship till June. Wizards messed up and should eat the cost to ship separate.
