It’s so true. My 78 yo mom can no longer use a laptop or a cell phone because of 2-factor authentication and password updates. It’s so frustrating. I finally caved and bought an iPhone to set up the “Senior Mode” called Assistive Access. It was a nightmare. Every time the phone updated, it would ask for a password even though I had turned it off. It kept setting up 2-factor authentication automatically and when she entered the wrong numbers, it would lock it down. I tried to get her a home phone - HA! I tried 3 times, each over an hour - the longest 1 hour and 45 minutes and each time they said it was all set up. Each time, nothing happened. I just ordered a RAZ Memory Cell Phone and it does not take 5g SIM cards but of course, Verizon sent me a 5g SIM card. Oh how I wish we just had land lines again!

It’s absolutely crazy to me that people cannot sacrifice not eating nuts for three or so hours. Where is people’s humanity?! Seriously, so concerning they can’t choose a different snack so someone doesn’t potentially die. It boggles my mind. You were right to call out Southwest and their response is pathetic. Oh, those people paid extra so it’s OK. It’s inconvenient to make other people not eat nuts for 3 hours so your nephew or anyone with a nut allergy should drive 24 hours instead of flying?! What?! They should thank their lucky stars they don’t have to worry about dying from someone else’s snack! Good grief!

Outstanding article - extremely thoughtful and well written. It’s amazing to see how things have changed over 25 years. Back then, a diagnosis *was* a stigma and difficult to receive, the complete opposite of today. The narrative we have been fed over the years has muddied the truth and made a diagnosis desirable - especially for teens and young adults on social media. At the same time it has swept those with true autism and functional difficulties under the rug. True Autism has never been a disease - it is neurological damage and deficit. Mission accomplished for Pharma but so destructive for society. It brings me great joy to see this young woman thriving and sharing the truth in the most eloquent way.

Dr. William Shaw's lab found that 60 to 70% of people with autism had overgrowth of Clostridia and Candida in their intestines, organisms that antibiotics leave behind while killing beneficial bacteria.

Treatment would clear the overgrowth and symptoms would improve, sometimes dramatically. Then treatment stopped, and the autism returned along with the Candida.

The question was why the body wasn't maintaining the clearance on its own. A German study provided a striking piece of the answer: the measles vaccine was found to knock out children's immunity specifically to Candida, and only to Candida, leaving every other immune function intact.

The implications reach beyond autism. The same Clostridia and Candida pattern showed up across psychiatric diagnoses, and Dr. Shaw's lab documented complete reversal of severe schizophrenia using an antibiotic targeted at the bacterial overgrowth.
