If the core issue is NEET, everyone would rally behind it. However, by leveraging this dilemma, you inadvertently create another problem that results in the same predicament as in Nepal and Bangladesh.

Hearty congratulations to all candidates and parties elected to office in this round of legislative elections in TN, WB, Kerala, Assam and Pondy.
Assam and Kerala verdicts are as expected. While Kerala will see a new government, there will be continuity and stability in keeping with the state's political culture.
West Bengal verdict reflects people's aspirations for growth, opportunity and inclusion. TMC largely continued the economic model of the leftist government that preceded it, and a reset is what the people wanted.
The most unexpected verdict comes from TN. By all accounts TN is one of the better governed states under DMK & ADMK. Better human development, good infrastructure, large investments in industry - from garments to electronics to automobiles to software, high levels of urbanisation, competent delivery of welfare and rapid economic growth have been the hallmarks of TN for two decades. In that backdrop it is quite astonishing that a new party emerged as winner in the FPTP system.
It signifies hope: established parties cannot take their position forgranted. People want real change in the nature of politics, and are ready to create new political alternatives and forge new political forces. Parties need to go back to the drawing board and engineer real reforms to promote clean politics, decentralisation, rule of law, service delivery, integrity in public life, inclusive growth and real opportunities to all irrespective of birth.
This verdict also could signify GenZ's impatience and yearning for miracles in terms of quality of life, standard of living and prosperity.
If inclusion, transparency and empowerment are the dominant impulses, Indian politics will only get better. If impatience and search for quick and miraculous solutions is the main impulse, we may witness a lot of volatility, anger and instability.
Elections are humbling experiences even for the high and mighty. The voters, by peaceful, silent vote express their will and assert their sovereignty. Election is about the voters, not the candidates and parties; elections are about what happens after the election, not who is elected. It is a glorious reminder that the people are sovereign, and those in transient power are there with people's consent.
May our democracy mature further and fulfill our aspirations.
May these election results pave way for the long overdue political and governance reforms.
A real political lesson for every party and strategist. Silent groundwork, disciplined execution, and a quiet voter wave can overpower the loudest campaigns. Tamil Nadu shows that strategy and patience still win elections.
