Cuando Maduro regalaba petróleo a la dictadura de Cuba —unos 57.000 millones de dólares en dos décadas, mientras PDVSA pagaba hasta 12 dólares más por barril importado de lo que le cobraba a La Habana— lo llamaban "soberanía".

Cuando vendía el Merey a China con descuentos de 14 a 21 dólares por barril bajo el Brent, a través de intermediarios opacos, lo llamaban "soberanía".

Cuando regalaba crudo a Rosneft, no por dinero, sino para amortizar 6.500 millones de dólares en préstamos rusos a cambio de cobertura política, lo llamaban "soberanía".

Cuando 21.000 millones de dólares de exportaciones quedaron sin cobrar entre 2020 y 2023 —solo se pagó el 16% de lo facturado— y 42.000 millones se esfumaron en tramas de corrupción en PDVSA, lo llamaban "soberanía".

Ahora Estados Unidos aporta 100.000 millones de dólares de inversión 100% privada, empleo e infraestructuras, con un régimen fiscal transparente de hasta 30% de regalía más 15% sobre el ingreso bruto, que supondrán 209.000 millones de ingresos para el pueblo venezolano, gestionados por EE. UU. para evitar que el chavismo lo robe.

El dinero que antes desaparecía en intermediarios y empresas pantalla de la mafia chavista ahora es auditable y trazable.

... Y ahora —sí, ahora— se "indignan".

Mensaje a los venezolanos:
La oposición y sus dirigentes acordados en Panamá recientemente, están en la urgencia de pronunciarse responsablemente sobre el mega acuerdo petrolero de 65.000 millones de barriles, anunciado ayer por el presidente Donald Trump y la presidenta interina Delcy Rodríguez.

Se trata de un acuerdo tan trascendental para Venezuela como lo fueron las concesiones petroleras entregadas por el general J. V. Gómez en los años 1920s.

Los venezolanos nos merecemos una posición firme y clara de los representantes opositores de Panamá.

Voy a decir algo que a algunos les va a dar un infarto: proclaman alegremente que “EL ACUERDO ES ILEGAL”.
Digo ALEGREMENTE porque NO se lo han leído, no conocen sus términos ni su arquitectura jurídica, pero ya dictaron su infantil sentencia.
Eso no es análisis: es IRRESPONSABILIDAD.

Luego repiten tres argumentos:

1. “Delcy es ilegítima y por tanto no puede firmar nada.”
La legitimidad política de Delcy Redríguez es una cosa; la capacidad efectiva del Estado venezolano para celebrar contratos durante una transición es otra. Si llevamos ese argumento infantil al extremo, habría que paralizar TODO EL ESTADO hasta que exista un gobierno cuya legitimidad satisfaga a todo el mundo: petróleo, electricidad, puertos, infraestructura, financiamiento, registros, notarías, matrimonios y divorcios, y lo más fundamental, la reconstrucción. Eso no es una política de transición nacional.
Es una RECETA AL COLAPSO NACIONAL.

Y añado algo: díganme qué país del mundo no reconoce a Delcy como "presidenta interina". O sea que tiene el principal reconocimiento de un gobierno, duélale a quien le duela.

2. “Se están robando el petróleo.”
¿Robando qué? Venezuela conserva la propiedad del recurso y recibe inversión, tecnología, producción, regalías e impuestos a cambio de explotarlo. Petróleo enterrado durante décadas no produce NADA; ni riqueza, ni empleo ni bienestar. El verdadero saqueo ha sido tener las mayores reservas del planeta y mantenerlas improductivas mientras Venezuela se convertía en el país más pobre del mundo.

3. “Están comprando reservas soberanas que son invaluables.” No. Una reserva petrolera no vale en el subsuelo el precio del barril en Houston. Hay que descontar CAPEX, OPEX, riesgo geológico, transporte, mejoramiento, financiamiento, impuestos, regalías y décadas de producción. Confundir reservas con barriles producidos y vendidos es un error económico elemental.

¿Tiene este acuerdo problemas y matices? POR SUPUESTO. Nace dentro de una transición nacional iniciada el 3 de enero, tiene elementos jurídicos y políticos inéditos, probablemente requerirá protección militar estadounidense y puede terminar desplazando progresivamente el control que durante décadas ejerció el régimen sobre la industria petrolera.

Es, por definición, un arreglo híbrido de transición.
Eso es precisamente lo que hay que estudiar seriamente.

Pero declarar IRRESPONSABLEMENTE que todo es “ilegal”, “robo” y “entrega de la soberanía”, sin siquiera conocer el acuerdo, puede tener una consecuencia gravísima: espantar inversiones, impedir contratos, bloquear la recuperación petrolera y, en general, PARALIZAR LA RECONSTRUCCIÓN.

Ese camino NO ES PATRIOTISMO.

Es profundamente irresponsable y sobre todo, ANTI-PATRIÓTICO.
