Looking at the entire situation, I think NDC's wisest move is to head straight to the Court of Appeal. In election matters, time is everything, and every day lost could have serious consequences. Going back to the same trial court may only lead to further delays,

to set aside his own earlier judgment. That is a matter for the Court of Appeal to decide.
With the deadline for candidate nominations approaching, the priority should be to act quickly. In electoral litigation, justice delayed can easily become justice denied.

NDC should also seek an accelerated hearing and any necessary interim orders to protect its interests while the appeal is pending. At this stage, the key legal question is whether Justice Dashen had the authority

I was on my way to inspect a property after the morning drizzle when, all of a sudden, a group of angry youths came running toward me. 👇🏾
